2. What Data We Collect
From All Users
- Mobile number (for OTP login and communication)
- Name and basic profile details
- Device information (IP address, device type, operating system)
- From Workers (Job Seekers): skills, experience, location, expected daily wage, and availability
- From Workers (Job Seekers): job application history and work records on the platform
- From Workers (Job Seekers): ratings and reviews given by Employers
- From Employers: contact name, business name, address, and GST number (if applicable)
- From Employers: job posting details (title, skills needed, wage, location, duration)
- From Employers: payment records processed by Razorpay. We do not store card or bank details
- From Partners: shop name and address
- From Partners: UPI ID for commission payouts
- From Partners: commission and referral records
- From Internal Partners (Field Agents): name, mobile number, agent type, and status
- From Internal Partners (Field Agents): commission records and list of onboarded Partners
3. Why We Collect This Data
- Match Workers with relevant jobs and Employers.
- Process job postings and payments.
- Calculate and pay commissions to Partners and Field Agents.
- Manage and secure your account.
- Send you important updates and notifications (not spam).
- Improve our app and user experience.
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with Indian laws and regulations.
4. Legal Basis for Using Your Data
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we process your data based on:
- Your Consent: given when you register and use the app.
- Contract: to provide the services you have signed up for.
- Legal Obligation: when required by Indian law.
- Legitimate Interest: to improve our platform and prevent fraud, without overriding your rights.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only when necessary:
- Other Users: Employers can see Worker profiles; Workers can see job postings.
- Service Providers: Razorpay (payments), cloud hosting providers, and analytics partners. All are bound by data protection agreements.
- Legal Authorities: when required by law, court order, or a government request.
- Business Transfers: if KaamDisha is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the new owner with the same protections.
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.
6. How We Protect Your Data
- Encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
- Strict access controls. Only authorised team members can access your data.
- Regular security reviews and monitoring.
- However, no system is 100% secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Our app may use basic analytics tools to understand how users interact with the app.
We do not use tracking for advertising purposes.
You can opt out of analytics in your app settings.
8. Children's Privacy
KaamDisha is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If you believe a minor has registered on our app, please contact us immediately and we will delete their account.

We will notify you via the app or SMS before significant changes take effect.
The latest version will always be available in the app.
